We are committed to making therapy more accessible — and that’s why we offer a specialized Intern Counselling Program. Our intern therapists are graduate students completing their clinical training. They provide compassionate, evidence-based care at a reduced rate, so your mental health support dollars go further.

This model is a great fit if:

I am grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside you as you explore, grow, and reconnect with yourself. Coming to therapy takes courage and I want to honor that by creating a safe and brave space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported. I have often been described as easy to talk to and comfortable to be around, and my intention is to bring ease no matter where you are at in your therapeutic journey.
I believe healing begins with connection and that meaningful change happens when we feel safe enough to be seen. I value collaboration in fostering self-awareness, agency, and trust, drawing on a person-centered, culturally responsive approach that honors each individual’s unique path. Everyone brings their own story, strengths, and struggles into the therapy room, and I aim to support your personal growth through empathy, curiosity, and compassion.
With an undergraduate background in psychology and over 10 years of experience in the field of human resources, I bring a strong understanding of workplace dynamics, leadership challenges, and relational systems. I am also able to draw upon my background as a university varsity athlete in volleyball and basketball, where I developed a deep appreciation for the emotional strength and resiliency required in both sport and life.
Therapy is a lifelong process of discovery, and I am here to walk alongside you as you uncover and embrace the most authentic version of yourself.

Alecia (she/her) is completing her Master of Counselling Psychology through City University of Seattle. She holds a combined Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Education degree and spent six years teaching at the elementary level. Her experience as an educator deepened her interest in mental health and shaped her appreciation for the unique stories, strengths, and challenges each individual brings. Through her time supporting students and families, Alecia developed a deep understanding of emotional development, resilience, and the importance of feeling seen and supported. These insights now inform her work as a counsellor.
Alecia approaches counselling with warmth, collaboration, and curiosity, tailoring sessions to each client’s unique goals and experiences. She values meeting clients where they are and working together to build goals that feel meaningful and achievable. Alecia prioritizes creating an inclusive space where clients feel supported, understood and empowered to make lasting change. She is passionate about helping adolescents and adults build confidence, manage anxiety, navigate academic or work-related stress, strengthen self-esteem, and create healthier relationships and routines.
Outside of counselling, Alecia enjoys reading, volunteering at her local spin studio, spending time with her dog and two cats, and discovering new foods both in the kitchen and around the city.

Hello! My name is Kennedy, and I am looking forward to meeting and supporting you. I understand that taking the first step to attend counselling can be a big one, and I want to
celebrate your courage in doing so. My goal is to offer a space where you can share life’s challenges openly, and together, we’ll explore strategies that support meaningful change and
personal growth.
My background in behavioural science led me to work and volunteer with children, youth, and families. These experiences deepened my appreciation for the power of human connection and the impact that compassionate support can have in creating lasting change. This understanding inspired me to pursue counselling as a career path.
I draw from several evidence-based approaches, including cognitive-behavioural, acceptance and commitment, solution-focused, narrative, and mindfulness-based therapies. My approach is warm, kind, and intentional. I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment where you can be yourself, feel heard, and leave each session feeling a bit lighter and more hopeful about the future.
